Jesus Saves Stone Walk
Sun, 22 June 2025 @ 11:00 - 15:00

Walk across the Dava Moor back to Grantown-on-Spey via Glenbeg. Varied scenery: moorland, hill farms, woodland and ending at the Square of 1765 Georgian planned town of Grantown.
This walk will be full of history, folklore and heritage about the farming communities that lived on the Dava Moor, and Glenbeg. Covering archaeology from the Bronze Age, transhumance shielings, place names, military roads, Victorian waterworks and the 1765 planned town of Grantown.
There will also be the opportunity to see wildlife, the flora and fauna.
A great walk with no hills, just the expanse of the Dava Moor sky. Something for everyone.
